With rising obesity rates and the need for eating better, substituting processed food for something healthy can be a challenge. However, Wonderfully Raw’s latest products, snack chips (Brussel Bytes and Snip Chips), are super healthy that are also certified organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, Paleo and vegan.

brussel_largeBrussel Bytes, made from organic Brussels sprouts and pumpkin seeds, offer flavors Chili Pumpkin Seed Crunch and Tamarind Apple Crunch. Made with combination of organic parsnips and coconut oil, Snip Chips’ flavors include Cheesy Herb Truffle, Chipotle Lime Cilantro and Dill Pickle. Here is a snack food rich in vitamins C, E, and K, fiber, Omega-3 and potassium along with satisfying a desire for something crunchy. Coconut raises metabolism and helps burn fat adding to the nutritional value.

What inspired Wonderfully Raw?

Sequoia Cheney, CEO & Macaroon Maven, began her career in working with the mentally ill, developmentally challenged and convicted prisoners. Despite a passion for food, Cheney ate a typical American diet until she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.  Her son, Eric Hara, is a renowned chef in New York City and encouraged creativity with food. Cheney trained with raw food chefs in the Living Light Culinary Institute located in Mendocino, Calif. Cheney reports she is now off her medication and her blood sugar is normal. The mother and son team came together to create Wonderfully Raw with products supporting the wild, organic and sustainable movement.

Wonderfully Raw products are available at select Whole Foods Markets, Sprouts Farmers Markets and grocery and health foods stores throughout the country and can also be purchased online at
